Handmade Gifts: Ideas for Moms & Babies

It’s the holiday season and I’m sure you’re all thinking about gift ideas. Recently, my cousin had a baby and I put together a set full of handmade gifts and fun stuff for the mom and the baby. Here are some of the things I think would make awesome holiday or baby shower gifts! Read on to find out what my top picks and click the images to go check them out!

These sets I make usually include a few clothing items, a big blanket for the baby, and maybe a few toys. I’ve listed all the things I included in my last set (some don’t have patterns up yet, but I’ll be posting them soon), and at the end of the post is a special freebie for subscribers!

    Katrina love your booties pattern!
How would I add a contrasting color to the rolled edge?
    So pretty
    Thank you diane

    • Thanks, I’m glad you liked them!
To add a contrasting color, just switch to the new color for the last 3 or 4 rows and bind off. When you sew it all together, keep that edge on the outside and it’ll form the rolled edge. Hope that helps!
