Love the designs and the opportunity for this great surprise. I love to crochet but sometimes find it hard to be motivated with not a good space to crochet and just leave it and not have to put everything away. Some day though.
My biggest win would be learning some organization tips and tricks which led to better and more enjoyable crochet time. I also became a grandma again so lots of projects to work on and plan.
An accomplishment I am proud of is making my first Amigurumi, it was a panda bear for a friend of mine.
So proud that I have launched my etsy shop Hook and Brush Co. selling crochet and hand painted items! A huge win!
I finally finished a project completely!! I
have so many WIPs…. 😁
It has been a long time since I have crocheted because of hand pain while doing it. I have found several patterns that make me want to get into it again and with the bigger hooks I want to try it again.
Thank you for your giveaway, it would be so awesome to win such an amazing giveaway after the Hurley Burley of the past year. Merry Christmas & an extra special 2021 to you xx
What a great way to end 2020 offering a huge fantastic giveaway! Thank you for the chance of winning, Shehla.
I made Christmas for everyone this year since my COVID-19 distancing from friends/family freed up time needed. I’m certainly hoping that no one will have that kind of spare time next year…..after the vaccinations.
Thank you, health workers, for all you do!!
I’m in my mid 70’s and learned to crochet when I was 8. It has been a great stress reliever, especially this year. I’ve never made anything bigger than a child’s sweater but I have put out endless piles of pot holders and hotpads. They make me happy and I feel accomplished. What more could I ask for. They also make great gifts to friends and neighbors and fit any holiday or occasion. Tho I stick to the basic stitches, I enjoy learning about the other ones, often give them a try, and then move on. I have a basket of hooks and yarn by my recliner and make use of it many evenings watching the tv or listening to a movie or audible book.
Hi! I discovered so many new-for-me designers with the 24 Days of Quickies from Marly Bird! So many items to knit or crochet in 2021! I sure will discover new ones in the list above! Thanks Shehla!
Awesome giveaway! Thanks.
Wonderful giveaway! Merry Christmas! Happy Holidays! Happy New Year!
amazing giveaway, good luck to everyone and congratulations on the winner for when they are drawn
Thank you for all your pattern and the inspiration they have become. This is a fantastic give away. Thank you for all that you do.
amazing prizes thanks for organising.
My biggest accomplishments this year have been helping my son as he graduated from high school and started training for his pilot’s license. It’s been a tough year for everyone, but we’ve found a way for him to keep moving forward until he can safely attend college and live on campus. And my husband and I have started pursuing our own interests again now that we’re not busy teaching classes to the homeschoolers in our community.
Thank you to all who contributed to this awesome giveaway! Stay safe and happy holidays to all.
I’m just proud that I made it through such a tough year! 🙂
Thank you for hosting such an awesome giveaway! And to all the partners who contributed 😊
Thanks for the chance!
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL THE FREE PATTERNS AND THE CHANCE OF WINNNG ONE OF THESE GREAT PRIZES> Merry Christmas to you and yours
I’ve challenged myself during the pandemic to try to learn new techniques and more color work. I’ve watched a lot of videos and keep learning the coolest little tips and tricks along the way. I am very thankful to have found so many wonderful crochet designers during this time. I keep adding to my ravelry list of want-to-makes! Thank you for hosting this super awesome giveaway!
Thanks for the chance to win!
This is truly a generous giveaway. Thank you and all of the sponsors for this chance to win.
What an amazing giveaway!
I am engaged and am making a skirt and shawl to wear over my teal dress.
Thanks for the awesome giveaway
Good luck everyone!! Thank you for this opportunity.
I’m proud that I learned to read patterns this year and became a pattern tester!!
I lost my youngest child, Justin, 16 yrs. ago and he was 16yrs old at the time. I use to blame myself for his death as if I had any control over what happened. This year during isolation, I was confronted more with all the stay at home thinking, and I finally forgave myself. This may not make much sense to some people as to why I blamed myself but as a parent I felt that it was my resposibility to protect him and I failed!
I am proud that I made my first Tunisian shawl.
I discovered some wonderful European yarn vendors online this year, when American yarn companies had to shut down shipping for a couple of months this spring, and have been able to use most of the yarn I ordered from one of those vendors. I was also excited to discover WeCrochet this past winter, and was able to participate in one of their CALs pre-pandemic.
Thanks for the opportunity to win. Something I am proud of is that I encourage and make others happy with my handmade cards.
My win for the year is getting help for my mental health and learning my limits.
I’ve been spending a lot of my time crocheting and sewing projects to donate to Operation Gratitude and Los Angeles Rabbit Foundation.
Thank you for an amazng giveaway!
I’m so happy I made 75% of my Christmas gifts myself! Hoping to get a head start on next year:-)
I am proud of the fact I made my first shawl this year. Then I made 3 more lol. I have been crocheting for 50 years now and had never made a shawl.
Thanks for the wonderful giveaway. That is so generous of all involved.
I’m very proud of my son and myself. In 2019 we lost our home and became separated because of his addiction to heroin and meth. Since I’m a veteran I was able to receive help through their services and even though and stayed in a homeless shelter for a while a bed opened up in a temporary housing apartment. I hadn’t heard from my son for months and he had no way of knowing where I was or how to reach me until he left rehab, he hated the heroin and meth and shortly after I disappeared he decided enough was enough, he is still clean. After living through all these experiences and troubles I have become a much more confident person and I don’t cower to people anymore. I tackle tough crochet and knitting patterns and I relax and enjoy the procedure and I don’t worry that it isn’t perfect, I’m only going to wash my face with it and nobody else is going to see it, so it doesn’t matter, my point is people I’m 59, don’t sweat the small stuff, look at the big picture first
Cool Giveaway
Something I’m proud of that I would like to share is the fact that I have two loving and caring sons, 17 and 25. Since becoming somewhat disabled they have stepoed up to the plate and have helped me tremendously. One has taken over cooking, the other cleaning up, both with food shopping and escorting me to any doc appointments. They do everything without complaint. I couldn’t ask for more.
You and your colleagues are very generous and loving to offer this wonderful sweepstakes. Thank you and Merry Christmas!
Thank you for the chance to win these amazing gifts. I found myself making gifts for the teachers at our school this year as our budget was shot…Great ideas came from your website. Thanks again. Merry Christmas

My win for the year is finding new ways to be healthier
Here for a chance to win!
My win for the year is getting into a tech editor class. Finding a way to be able to work, even though I am about 1/2 to 3/4 disabled and cannot get disability and combining it with my crochet that I love.
My win for the year is becoming more accepting of myself, being more gentle with how I talk to myself, and being able to let go of things that bring negativity in my life. Thanks for this wonderful opportunity to win all these terrific things! Happy holidays to all.
I would like to be able to crochet well enough to make gifts for my grandchildren. That is something I would like to share from my love of crocheting. Right now I am only able to crochet afghans pretty well. I want to make hats, gloves, and toys.
Although I taught myself to Crochet right after the Pandemic began, so it has been several months now. I realize I know the basics through video tutorials but I realize there is so much more I don’t know. I want to improve & get to a level where I can feel confident with a real skill. I have made several gifts but I do more frogging than I want to (Have to!). Anyway, I feel I need to grow in this craft. You are never too old to learn, plus helps sharpen your mind.
Thank you for the opportunity to win this giveaway!

Thank you for the giveaway! I’m proud of myself for working on my hobbies more this year, and also starting a new role at my job.
I am proud of myself being able to surrender the “things” that the Lord has been asking me to let go of and allowing Him to do a deep work in my heart…that nobody sees and only He knows, during this year of 2020. It has been hard but freeing at the same time. I am looking forward to what I will be now able to accomplish in 2021 with less to carry…physically and spiritually.
i am just proud to have made it through 2020 which was terrible in a lot of ways for a lot of people. but i was lucky to have a job in an industry that stayed busy and lucky to clear some health concerns and lucky to keep it all together (barely).

I’m proud of the fact that despite this pandemic, I was able to remain calm and used it to repair my relationship with my son even further and that we used our time together to make extra sweet memories before he moved to London. I have worked to build my knitting and crochet skills further so that I can channel my grandmother and make beautiful items to gift to my loved ones.
I have proud of the things I make with my hands for friends and myself.

I am proud of my 2 young kiddos that have learned to walk (ages 20 months & 3.5 years). I also have one that started to talk this year (5 years this month).
My win is how close I am to finishing my crochet room! After my daughter moved into her apartment we had a leak in our roof that caused half the ceiling in her old bedroom to fall in. First I had to sort through all of the things she left behind and clear out the chunks of plaster ceiling. Next we hired a contractor and had a new ceiling put in. Then we had the room painted. Now I have to clean up the wood trim throughout the room, have new flooring installed, order my IKEA cube units and FINALLY begin organizing my yarn and other craft supplies!!!
I’ve learned a lot about crochet, but also a lot about life in general this year.
Thank you!

GREAT giveaway!!!!! Hope I can win.
I’m proud that I keep trying to learn and improve my crafting skills.
I am proud for teaching myself how to crochet and knit this year.
This year I’ve successfully traversed crochet newbness, and can confidently crochet just about anything, and well (just because I’m an absolute perfectionist, so I don’t finish until it’s perfect). I’m proud of myself, because when my grandma tried teaching me about 15 years ago, I gave up because it was too difficult to keep my tension loose and to recognize where to put my hook. The internet has helped tremendously in my self taught crochet studies, and even my adult kids are wowed when I make things. That’s The biggest test… My kids actually want and ask for me to make things, and they wear or display them with pride. It makes me feel good, to be able to do something well. Thanks for the giveaway!
I am so happy that I became a crochet pattern tester so I’ve been able to work with some amazing crochet pattern designers and connect to other crocheters!
I am proud that I stick with my craft even though I have no support system.. 🙂
Keeping my mind occupied with fiber arts, so the not so good things happening won’t be so upsetting! Praying for all who are sick and those helping the sick!

You asked what I am most proud of, teaching a homeless lady how to crochet, first time teaching and she enjoyed it although she got anxious and left, but she will be coming to the next session. Really glad she made it, hope to come up with ideas that would help. Really glad I found your blog Shehla, even though I am quite rubbish at keeping up with things.
